CLICK HERE FOR MISSION IMPOSSIBLE III TRAILER
Ethan Hunt(Tom Cruise) is getting ready to settle down, and he's been training others to take his place. He is called back into action when his protege is captured. The 3rd installment is directed by TV veteran JJ Abrams(Lost, Alias,Felicity) and he delivers the goods. I thought it was greatly balanced, not as complicated as Brian Depalma's first one, or overly stylized as John Woo's 2nd. Good story, spectacular action, and is there anyone who doesn't get charged up from Lalo Shiffin's theme song from the original TV show.
Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman plays a great villain arms dealer and the 3rd installment has the most emotion of the series with intense scenes of hate, fear, and rage.
If you want to see Tom Cruise at his best, MI:3 is here. I don't know about you, but I could not care less about what the tabloids and entertainment shows think about Mr. Cruise. If he makes good movies, he can jump up and down on Opera's couch all day long for all I care.

WILDCATS RETURNS
Ah yes, the early nineties, when Image comics rocked the world with a huge onslaught of creator owned titles that bulldozed them to the front lines leaving Marvel and DC wondering where this all came from. One of the biggest was Jim Lee's Wildcats, and now Grant Morrison is reviving this amazing series and the best part is that the original creator Jim Lee is doing all the artwork. All the best characters have returned: Grifter, Spartan, Zealot, and Voodoo. The biggest relaunch of the year has arrived, come in and get it while you still can.

CLICK FOR BREAK-UP TRAILER
Two great movies, released on DVD just one week apart, marketed as just comedies but really are not. Click released last week with Adam Sandler made me all water eyed in the tradition of It's a wonderful life. When you watched the trailer though, it just looked like a silly comedy.
Now just one week later comes the Break-up. Jennifer Aniston seems to make a lot of serious movies that are marketed as straight comedies such as Friends with Money, and the Good Girl. Jennifer and Vince Vaughn are on the verge of breaking up, but neither want to give up the Condo that they own. They're arguments seem as real as can be. Be sure to treat yourself to the DVDs commentary where writer Vince Vaughn gives so much personal insight into the making of the film.
The Break-Up is released on DVD tomorrow along with The Omen, Over the Hedge, and Rest Stop.
Cable enters the Ultimate Universe
Robert Kirkmen introduces Cable into the Ultimate Universe in Ultimate X-men #75. This Cable is not the same one that you think you know. His origin will definitely surprise you. Look for the wonderful cover from Michael Turner.
After watching X-men Last Stand about 30 times this week, I'm still on X-men mode in case you couldn't tell.

CLICK HERE FOR ART SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL TRAILER
Art School Confidential is from the same writer(Daniel Clowes) and director (Terry Zigwolf) that gave us Ghost Word a few years back. Anyone that has read Mr. Clowes work, knows that he has quite a cynical view of teaching art and that most art classes are taught by hasbeens or wannabees.
Jerome (Max Minghella) just wants to be the greatest artist of the 21st century and might just do just about anything to accomplish that. Also stars Sophia Myles and John Malkovich.

Adam Sandler's newest movie is released tomorrow on DVD. Click has a lot more heart and sentiment than the previews might let you believe. Besides being a great comedy, it will also have an emotional impact as such movies as Scrooge and It's a Wonderful Life.

GET YOUR MUTANT FIX
It seems to me that everybody has been fired up about this weeks release of X-men the Last stand on DVD. Now is also a great time to stock up on many of the great X-men comics and graphic novels that we currently have in stock. Just in, is the hard cover edition of "Origin". This was released a couple of years ago as a six issue series that finally revealed Wolverine's origin after so many years of having it shrouded in mystery. This was the result of Joe Quesada and Bill Jemmas who decided to really shake things up when Joe became Marvels editor in chief. Andy Kubert supplied the artwork which is stunning. Now all six of these hard to find books have been compiled into one book which is a great read for new and long term fans alike.
We have the classic essentials, to the newer ones. Whether you want ones by Chris Clairmont or Josh Whedon, come in and check them out.

CLICK HERE FOR X-MEN LAST STAND TRAILER
The X-Men are back, in the most exciting movie to date. When a "cure" is discovered for genetic mutation, Magneto and the Brotherhood rise up, and Professor Xavior and the X-men are sworn to protect the world that hates and fears them. Jean Grey is possessed by the Dark Phonix, and the X-men have a couple of new additions, Beast and Angel. This film brings upon many philosopical questions as whether mutations are a disease are just the next step in evolution.
Aaron Eakhart stars as Nick Naylor, the master spin doctor lobbyist for big tobacco. This satirical look at the Tobacco industry is a must see with a
great cast including Katie Holmes, William Macy, Sam Elliott, and Robert Duval.
