Galactic Comics and Video

Two great movies, released on DVD just one week apart, marketed as just comedies but really are not. Click released last week with Adam Sandler made me all water eyed in the tradition of It's a wonderful life. When you watched the trailer though, it just looked like a silly comedy.

Now just one week later comes the Break-up. Jennifer Aniston seems to make a lot of serious movies that are marketed as straight comedies such as Friends with Money, and the Good Girl. Jennifer and Vince Vaughn are on the verge of breaking up, but neither want to give up the Condo that they own. They're arguments seem as real as can be. Be sure to treat yourself to the DVDs commentary where writer Vince Vaughn gives so much personal insight into the making of the film.

The Break-Up is released on DVD tomorrow along with The Omen, Over the Hedge, and Rest Stop.
