CLICK HERE FOR DA VINCI CODE TRAILER

What a day today. I could not believe the lines of people to get this movie. I guess that it shouldn't have been a surprise as the controversial book has 100 million copies in print and the movie took in over 200 million at the box office.

Tom Hanks stars as Robert Langdon, professor of symbology, who is summoned to a French museum when a curator is murdered. Once there he finds himself on the run of being accused of the murder, and is assisted by the curators daughter Audrey Tatou (the Amelie Girl..yeah she speaks English). Robert Langdon is caught up in a mystery that is protecting a secret since the time of Christ.

The Da Vinci Code is now available on DVD and was directed by Ron Howard.

Pixars newest animated release arrives tomorrow. Lightning McQueen(voiced by Owen Wilson) is a hotshot racing car who gets sidetracked in a small town Radiator Springs on his way to the big race in California. This movie has once again set the bar another notch higher in animation. Also voiced by Paul Newman, Larry the Cable Guy, and Cheech Marin.

The Wayan's brothers bring another funny movie, their last since White Chicks. It's kind of like that old bugs bunny cartoon with Baby Face Finster.

Both these movies will be available for rent or for sale tomorrow along with Wordplay. Word play is a must for anyone who has ever enjoyed a good crossword puzzle. Hope to see everyone tomorrow.

FRANK MILLER'S 300

In 1998 Frank Miller put out a 5 issue comic series "300" which is based on historic fact of how in 480 B.C., King Xeres of Persia put together an army of hundreds of thousands and after invading Greece, was met up by a small but determined group of 300 Spartans who refused to be defeated and resulted in a 3 day battle.

This series is now put together in one complete coffee table book which looks spectacular. Millers art is great but definitely not pretty. They are currently working on a movie based this book.
